Ha! Was that something you were conscious of when you were making the track? I was going through a rough patch in my relationship and I wanted to write about what I was going through. I was judging myself for feeling the way I was feeling. So I decided I need to be unapologetic about what my heart feels and be true to it.
The album has a real ’70s feel to it. Why was that an era that you took inspiration from?
I fell in love with ’70s music a couple of years ago. It wasn’t something I grew up on. At home we listened to more Albanian music because my parents are Albanian.
