The recent ‘Mexican Food Festival’ held in Delhi at the Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi/Saket was a delightful culinary extravaganza that treated attendees to the authentic flavors of Mexico.

The inauguration of the festival was graced by the presence of the Mexican Ambassador to India, Federico Salas, who added prestige to the event. How has your experience been in India?

Having spent four years in India, it’s truly a privilege to serve as the ambassador of such a diverse and beautiful country. The richness of its cultural tapestry and the warmth of its people never cease to amaze me. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit many cities within this country, each offering its own unique charm and character. 

Which are your favorite cities?

I have a special fondness for Kolkata for its rich history, literary heritage, and artistic culture. Mumbai and Delhi are also very interesting to me. Each city has its own unique charm and cultural significance that I deeply appreciate.
