Can you tell us about the journey of Hasmukh Parekh Jewellers from a small one-room shop to becoming the most influential jewellery house in India?
The journey of Hasmukh Parekh Jewellers is a testament to hard work, determination, and a deep commitment to customer satisfaction. It all began when Hasmukh's father and brothers started working together at a young age, selling jewellery door-to-door to retail customers.
Initially, they focused on supplying jewels to the neighbouring states of Orissa and Bihar in the 1970s. They expanded their horizons and started exploring markets in Uttar Pradesh, Mumbai, and retailers from all over the country.
During this time, my father (Hasmukh Parekh) had a strong connection with retail customers. He dealt with them personally and learned the intricacies of the business from his father and elder brothers. It was during this phase that Hasmukh developed his aspiration for growth and dreamed big. He set a goal for himself to become the number one wholesaler of India.
