Glorious Luna
Glorious Luna is the yin to Suruj Rajkhowa's yang. In Assamese, Suruj means 'sun' while Luna is 'moon'. At the age of six, Rajkhowa started drawing Glorious Luna as "a fantasy-like creature". And when he moved from Assam to Mumbai in 2017, his first drag performance was set to Beyoncé's 'Naughty Girl', where he channelled the pop star's trademark fierceness to transform into the most extravagant version of himself that he knew-Glorious Luna. "It was liberating," says Rajkhowa.
