With the undeniable prominence of fast fashion and online shopping in today’s society, it is now easier than ever to make careless, impulsive purchases. This rampant form of over-consumption has led to many facing the ongoing conundrum of having to deal with a cluttered wardrobe. A full wardrobe makes it seemingly impossible to locate certain articles of clothing, leading to pieces being easily misplaced or forgotten. Additionally, the stifling humidity of our tropical climate tends to wreck the condition of many sartorial favourites.
Introducing PAKT, a unique service revolutionising wardrobe organisation and management. Founded in Hong Kong in 2015, the leading service is opening in Singapore to save us from our overwhelming wardrobes. It boasts various key functions ranging from specialised storage in climate-controlled zones to circular solutions such as reselling of pre-loved items, all accessible through a personalised app.
PAKT’s ambassador is HongKong based fashion stylist and creative consultant, Kim Bui Kollar. Recounting her experience discovering PAKT three years ago, she describes it as a ‘pinch me’ moment. Kollar muses: “My digitised wardrobe can be organised with a touch of my smartphone, it’s amazing. The future has truly been reimagined with this newfound efficiency.”
