‘The past, present and future collide in Bovet’s new Aperto 1 in collaboration with Pininfarina.

Bovet has always had a regal air about them, with watches on the extremely traditional end of the spectrum. And with watch names like the Récital and Virtuoso all accompanied by Roman numerals at the end, the feeling of royalty is almost built into their brand DNA. This is why, when we came across the Aperto 1 it took us completely by surprise. It was a watch that looked like a Bovet from the Fleurier collection with its signature crown and bow at the 12 o'clock position but completely reimagined for a customer that we imagine would be the person driving a sports-car version of a horse-drawn carriage.
