Mantras are powerful sound vibrations that resonate deep within our spirit. The Sanskrit word Mantra is made of two parts - Man that is mind and Tra meaning tool or instrument. So Mantra is a tool to transport the mind into a space of stillness. It is only from a still mind that creativity is able to blossom, new inventions are crafted and magical feats are achieved. So a Mantra is no ordinary combination of letters and syllables, it symbolises the inner energies that are embedded within.
When we chant a particular Mantra, energy is released and we acquire a tremendous inner strength to translate our intentions into accomplishments. Some of the key methods to activate the power of a Mantra include, pronouncing the Mantra properly, chanting the Mantra in the proper rhythm and projecting the right voice that is deep and resonating. It is said that the energy of a Mantra lies in its pronunciation.
