CASIO’S TOUGH LIKE YOU campaign is one of my favourite watch marketing campaigns of the year. It highlights the resilience and determination of individuals who face life’s challenges head-on, celebrating toughness both in and out of the gym. More importantly, the campaign emphasises how a watch is more than just a timepiece; it reflects one’s character and spirit.
Casio released the G-Steel GM-2110 and the G-Steel GBM-2100 series, with both analog and digital features, such as a stopwatch, timer and calendar, in conjunction with the campaign to celebrate the essence of strength, resilience, and relentless ambition. The former comes with a stainless steel bracelet, while the latter comes with a rubber strap.
With its iconic octagonal stainless-steel bezel and Carbon Core Guard structure, it is incredibly durable. It even comes with Smartphone Link via Bluetooth for improved functionality and connectivity (with GPS, phone finder, and world time for approximately 300 cities), as well as Tough Solar charging.
