Brand ambassador Jordan Lim shares the inspirational flavours behind the Roku Gin Sakura Blossom Edition

EACH SPRING, Japan hosts an annual festival known as the Hanami festival. Around the month of May, when cherry blossoms are most bountiful, millions of people travel across the country to admire the pink blossoms that cover the streets of Japan.

To encapsulate the essence of spring, Roku Gin released a limited-edition spirit called the Roku Gin Sakura Blossom Edition. Encased in a hexagonal bottle engraved with Sakura blossoms, the themed spirit evokes the taste of spring.

As part of the celebratory campaign, Roku Gin has partnered with 20 bars across the peninsula, hosting nightly tasting sessions for spirit enthusiasts to sample a variation of artisanal cocktails drinks infused with the limited-edition gin.

At the centre of this campaign is Jordan Lim, who has been Suntory Global Spirit’s brand ambassador for two years. With his expertise on the subject, Lim provided more insights as well as his own thoughts on this exquisite botanical blend.
