It's not BFFs without the forever. But how to keep a friendship together when one (or everyone in that once-tight circle) has moved away? Is it possible to stay BFFs while on different sides of the world? It takes patience, planning and persistence, says life coach Chetna Chakravarthy. Here's her advice.
● Prepare to dig deep. Face the fact that more work will be needed, especially at the beginning. If you aren't the person that moved away, be extra patient. "Realise that they are in the midst of setting up all over again in a new city," says Chakravarthy. Be extra supportive." There will be times when one feels like one is "doing all the work". Expect such emotions, but try to keep them in check.
