Mark Sands, Global Wellness Spokesperson and Vice President of Wellness at Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas, is on a mission to redefine the way we experience wellness. After joining from Ananda in the Himalayas in 2011, Sands saw the potential for Six Senses to do more than just provide luxury. How do you see the brand evolving in this unique and diverse market in India?

India is very close to my heart, having been my home for over six years and where half of my family lives. I see more and more hotels embracing wellness and a massive rise in wellness real estate. Wellness tourism is one of the fastest-growing sectors in global travel, focused on ways to live better for longer. Wherever we are, we draw from local healing traditions and connect ancient medicine to modern science. I am confident we’ll see more Six Senses properties in India in the future.
