"In the foothills of the Himalayas, this wellness escape at Six Senses Vana exceeded all my expectations. My days were filled with the knowledge of Ayurveda, stretching with yoga asanas, learning the application of Tibetan medicine, and experiencing natural healing therapies. Each morning, I woke up healthier and excited, eagerly looking forward to discovering what the day had in store.
Named after the sal forest, Six Senses Vana is the first dedicated Six Senses wellness retreat offering a journey of self-discovery, health, and healing. Nourishing food, including an Ayurvedic specialty restaurant; therapies, including acupuncture, reflexology, and natural alignment; and a kind-hearted team completes the retreat. Every stay here includes full-board accommodation and personalised nutrition, daily retreat activities, and wellness consultation.
After a peaceful welcome, I donned the loosefitting kurta pyjamas provided and hopped on a tour to fully understand Six Senses Vana. Over the years, the outside world has crept closer to the retreat, yet once inside, you step into a completely different world.
