A DECADE ON FROM LOSING HER ONLY SON, ROSIE HAS SLOWLY LEARNT TO LIVE AGAIN

In Rosie Batty's mind, her beloved son Luke is forever 11 years old, a sweet-natured, beautiful boy on the cusp of growing up".

"I think about him all the time and I think sometimes people don't know whether to say something about him or not," Rosie reflects.

"But I never want people to stop talking about him."

February 12 will mark 10 long, painful years since Luke was killed at the hands of his father Greg Anderson in a crime that shocked the nation. Greg walked up to Luke at his cricket training in Tyabb, VIC, hit him over the head with a bat and then fatally stabbed him. Greg also died at the scene.

In an instant, Rosie lost her whole world because of a mentally ill, vengeful man and a legal system that fails domestic violence victims time and again.
