Each week, Emma Anderson dresses in armour, jumps into the ring at her local sports centre and readies herself for combat.
She’s not fencing or kickboxing, though. She is preparing for her lightsaber class, inspired by the popular Star Wars movie franchise.
The 25-year-old from Perth is a member of her local Ladies Who Lightsaber group and is living out her Jedi Knight dreams.
Emma tells New Idea that it is a huge “confidence builder” to be involved in the unusual sporting club.
