Hikers between California's wild Mojave National Preserve and Joshua Tree National Park may mistake this for a mirage, but it's in fact the latest dreamy offering from Folly, a specialist in secluded yet stylish stays. The three-suite property was designed by Los Angeles-based architect Malek Alqadi as a space for healing, wellness and self-reflection, with each stunning concrete and charred-wood structure kitted out with comforts like palatial bedding and oversized armchairs. For fun, guests can take part in activities like hiking, campfire dinners and s'more tastings, but the real highlight is heading back to your suite after dark, where you can lay back and gaze at the Milky Way from the open-air sky terrace.
