BULGARI

The theme for Bulgari’s collection at LVMH Watch Week this year was “Time is a Jewel”. The jeweller once again expertly combined its Roman heritage and prowess in gems and jewellery with its mastery in watchmaking to create a line of precious ladies’ timepieces. The novelty that best demonstrates this is the new Bulgari Divas’ Dream Mosaica, which comes with either blue or pink sapphires and is equipped with a mechanical self‑winding movement—a response to female consumers’ demand for more mechanical timepieces. The dial, fully set with diamonds and sapphires, features a repeated fan‑shaped motif inspired by the iconic mosaics of the Baths of Caracalla in Rome and has a transparent case-back through which the in‑house movement, calibre BVL 191, can be admired.

A second piece that encapsulates Bulgari’s bejewelled theme is the seductive Serpenti Tubogas Infinity, an iconic watch with a serpentine silhouette that wraps around the wrist like second skin. For the first time ever, the watch sparkles with diamonds all the way from the head of the snake through to its tail—credit due to the jeweller’s intricate gem-setting technique on the individual rings making up the bracelet. The Serpenti Tubogas Infinity is available in two versions: with a single‑ or double‑tour bracelet.
