The 296 GTB is a plug-in hybrid supercar and gives a sense of versatility which never was seen or expected from this genre. You start the car in total silence and that is a good thing since the usual supercar flamboyance need not be on display all the time. The world has changed and a new supercar with some environmental conscience is indeed quite welcome.
