01 BURBERRY: KNIGHT
In his three-year tenure at Bottega Veneta, creative director Daniel Lee delivered some of its biggest icons in recent times, including the Pouch clutch bag and the boxy Cassette shoulder bag. Having recently left to take up the creative helm at Burberry, it is hardly surprising that his debut collection for the British brand was one of the most anticipated shows on the Fall/Winter 2023 fashion calendar.
Aside from putting a younger and more vibrant spin on Burberry's signature tropes such as plaid and the Equestrian Knight motif, Lee also sent several models down the runway casually toting a slouchy new bag. The new Knight bag will be a big new launch for Burberry, which is releasing the design in three materials soft grained leather, suede, or shearling in three different sizes and a variety of colours ranging from black to yellow.
