What You Need To Know

1 Who is Rob Harris?

Rob joined Jamiroquai in 1999 and has worked with the band live and in the studio since then. He’s also a busy teacher and session guitarist.

2 Is the Rob Harris Signature a brand-new design?

No, it’s not. But using Patrick Eggle’s renowned 96 Super-S style model as the basis for his guitar, between them Rob, Patrick and Stuart Robson of Sunbear Pickups have come up with a unique set of specs that offer maximum tone control with minimum switch and knob twiddling.

3 Who’s it aimed at?

Despite the fact that Rob plays in one of the most successful funk bands of all time, he also works in a variety of other scenarios so his signature guitar is the perfect all-rounder for any guitarist looking for a mix of killer single-coil and humbucker tones.

Anyone that’s played one of Patrick James Eggle’s instruments knows how beautifully conceived and constructed they are. Pat knows what makes a great guitar, so doesn’t spare the horses when it comes to seeking out the finest parts and materials to do so. And with an eye for refining past designs to his own highly critical tastes and unimpeachable standards, he has created a small but select range, of which the 96 is a stalwart.
