America's Best Retailers 2023
Newsweek Europe|July 28, 2023
WHEN WE THINK OF THE BEST RETAILERS, THE ones that stand out are those that offer high-quality products, competitive prices and provide superior customer service.

America's Best Retailers 2023

These businesses understand the needs and preferences of their customers and go above and beyond to meet or exceed their expectations. They also have loyal and satisfied customers who trust and recommend them to others. Some examples of the retailers who made our list are Trader Joe's, L.L. Bean, Target, Costco, Wawa and Bath & Body Works. Newsweek and the global market research and consumer data firm Statista are proud to announce our ranking of America's Best Retailers 2023. In an independent survey, shoppers were asked to rank stores in 39 product categories to determine the best. Participants were also asked about the likelihood of recommending a retailer to friends and family and how they ranked it based on price, selection and overall atmosphere. The number of winners in each category varies by the number of eligible companies. We hope you find our ranking helpful when choosing where to shop for yourself and your family. Nancy Cooper, Global Editor in Chief

Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie

PARIS HILTON AND NICOLE RICHIE ARE READY TO BRING A LITTLE “SANASA” to the world with Peacock's Paris & Nicole: The Encore, their first project together since their reality show The Simple Life ended in 2007. What's “sanasa”? It's a song and phrase the longtime friends created as kids and popularized on The Simple Life. The show, a cultural phenomenon in the early days of reality TV, followed them over a series of blue-collar jobs. Now they're bringing it back as an opera. “I know this is just going to make people laugh, have fun, be nostalgic and just celebrate our friendship,” Hilton said. While Richie acknowledged “you can't do Simple Life again,” she said now “felt like the right time.” The famous pair also revisit some old jobs in Arkansas, like fast-food chain Sonic, where they now have drinks named for them. “I think that there is a part of our friend- ship that the show ended up showing that people connect to,” Richie said. As for this new special, Hilton is glad to do something positive for their fans. “It's been such a crazy past couple years, and I just feel like the world needs more joy.”
