MOST TRUSTED BRANDS - 2024
Newsweek Europe|February 02 - 09, 2024
THE FOUNDATION FOR ALL RELATIONSHIPS is trust. This applies to our personal relationships and to our dealings with the businesses and brands we depend on daily. You want to be confident that when you pay for a product or service, it will live up to your expectations time and time again. While it isn't easy to measure trust, it's a quality critical for success that is challenging to earn and easy to lose.

MOST TRUSTED BRANDS - 2024

So, how do the most trusted brands stay at the top? Shoppers say detailed descriptions of the products and services help set expectations. Also important:  is transparency in business practices and manufacturing while offering fair prices and providing timely customer service.

To help our readers shop more confidently, Newsweek partnered with leading market research firm BrandSpark International to highlight the Most Trusted Awards brand winners in 2024.

The winners were selected based on an extensive survey of shoppers who told us which brands they trust the most, and why. Brands were considered in 10 broad retail sectors: automotive, baby and kids, beauty & personal care, food & beverage, durable home goods, household & cleaning, over-the-counter health, pet care, restaurants and retail, and services.

We hope you find this ranking helpful when selecting trustworthy brands for your household.

Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie

PARIS HILTON AND NICOLE RICHIE ARE READY TO BRING A LITTLE “SANASA” to the world with Peacock's Paris & Nicole: The Encore, their first project together since their reality show The Simple Life ended in 2007. What's “sanasa”? It's a song and phrase the longtime friends created as kids and popularized on The Simple Life. The show, a cultural phenomenon in the early days of reality TV, followed them over a series of blue-collar jobs. Now they're bringing it back as an opera. “I know this is just going to make people laugh, have fun, be nostalgic and just celebrate our friendship,” Hilton said. While Richie acknowledged “you can't do Simple Life again,” she said now “felt like the right time.” The famous pair also revisit some old jobs in Arkansas, like fast-food chain Sonic, where they now have drinks named for them. “I think that there is a part of our friend- ship that the show ended up showing that people connect to,” Richie said. As for this new special, Hilton is glad to do something positive for their fans. “It's been such a crazy past couple years, and I just feel like the world needs more joy.”
