Darren Sarll's Cards have guaranteed their place in the National League's top seven with four games to go to ensure they will compete in the Step 1 play-offs for the first time in club history.
Experienced striker affectionately Amond known as Podge - says no one is underestimating what a big achievement that is. But they're not patting themselves on the back just yet.
"That's the reason I joined the club - I thought there was a good chance we could maybe get into the Football League but at least make the play-offs," Amond, 34, told The NLP.
"I think if you'd offered the players, staff, fans anybody involved in the club the play-offs at the start of the season they would have snapped your hand off.
"But to confirm it with four games left is a real achievement. Probably one that has been overlooked a little bit because of how well Wrexham and Notts County have gone this year. That's been the story and understandably so.
"But for a club like Woking, to be sitting where we are in the table and guaranteed play-offs is a huge achievement. Unfortunately, that's where that achievement ends. We've got there now, we've put all that effort in and we don't want it to be in vain.
