TIME RUNNING BID OUT IN A TO RESCUE ROMANIA

The Hertfordshire-based Step 5 side have been seeking funds to carry on playing in the Spartan South Midlands Premier next season but Vintila, who founded the Wolves back in 2006, says with time almost up, it's now or never for the club's mere survival.

"It's a sad situation, the club is really close to being finished, we are just praying someone can save us," he told The NLP.

"We haven't been able to find help from anywhere. Since the season finished, I've been searching for investors, but the situation is now completely critical, we can't continue to exist in our current form.

"With funding I really believe we can elevate the club a lot. There's an exciting marketing plan which we put together, but we just don't have the funds to make it work.

"I so hope someone reads this and wants to help, time is so close to running out and something has to happen now." The Wolves are one of NonLeague's iconic clubs, with their eye-catching name often attracting intrigue.
