The result certainly cheered the home crowd and satisfied head coach Richie Kevern.

"I am really happy with that result," said the Reds chief.

"We always knew it was going to be difficult against a well-drilled Exeter Uni side, especially in the first half when they showed how dangerous they could be.

"We showed a lot of patience and weathered the storm, then were smart enough to take our opportunities when they came along in the second half.

"I was very pleased with the way our setpiece went during the second half.

"We seem to have our mojo back. The forwards controlled the driving maul really well and we took full opportunity playing down the slope.
