'CHEMISSTRY' TEACHER GETS 'PHYSICS' LESSON

A woman teacher's son and his friends assault her male colleague at a city science college over his 'inappropriate' compliment to her

When a group of angry young men stormed a college campus hurling insults, onlookers braced for a brawl between a group of students. But when the youths barged into a male faculty member's office and assaulted him, eyebrows were raised over the state of anarchy and indiscipline at one of the city's oldest science colleges.

Those in the know say the attack on the male faculty member was the result of a toxic exchange with a female teacher.

The principal of the college, while confirming the incident, did not divulge any details at the grant-in-aid college.

"The two parties involved in the incident have apologised to each other. I can only say this, as it will tarnish the college's reputation otherwise," the principal said.
