CITY REALTY GETS MOJO BACK WITH MEGA LAND DEAL

City-based corporate giant's subsidiary said to be the buyer of Rs 143-crore prime plot behind Rajpath Club

Amidst a slight lull in Ahmedabad's real estate market, a recent land deal in the city has injected a much-needed dose of optimism. A prime plot behind the Rajpath Club area has been sold for over Rs 143 crore, marking one of the most expensive land transactions in recent times.

The deal involved an auction by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), where the land was reportedly sold at a staggering Rs 3.07 lakh per square metre.

Sources suggest the buyer is a subsidiary of the Ahmedabad-based Nirma Group, which plans to construct its new corporate office on the site. The facility is expected to house various business verticals, including Nirma Enterprise, cement, and pharmaceuticals.

A source close to the company confirmed, “Currently, the company’s offices are located in different areas. We want to bring all of them under one roof.”
