Grant funds to schools spent on conventions?

State School Mgmt Assn has alleged that special grants are being used to fund travel expenses of school employees who attend conventions

The special grants received by the state's grant-in-aid schools for the convenience and education of students are being allegedly misused to cover the cost of teacher and employee conventions as per allegations made by the State School Management Association.

The association raised concerns about the misuse of these funds alleging that grants are being used to pay for the travel expenses of teachers, principals, and administrative staff attending various conventions which in turn affects the education of students.
