GU to revisit Akhand Bharat

Gujarat University to build Rs 25-cr monument to highlight rich heritage of undivided India, including amphitheatre, galleries, souvenir shops, food courts etc

In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020's emphasis on incorporating the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) into the curriculum, Gujarat University (GU) is taking a significant step forward. The university is not only offering short-term, book-based courses on IKS but also establishing a landmark installation on its campus to showcase India's rich history and diversity.

Immersive experience of Akhand Bharat In the coming months, approximately 2,500 square metres of land will be transformed into a magnificent installation project called "Bahuratna Vasundhara."

Based on the concept of Ekatmatastotra, this project will authentically reflect the diverse and rich culture and history of Akhand Bharat. It will feature galleries showcasing India's saints and sages, offer breathtaking views of the Himalayas and other mountains, the 12 Jyotirlingas, 51 Shakti Peethas, and the rivers of Akhand Bharat.
