Gujarat govt to use AI to catch hold of crooks

State-wide CCTV network, AI software to help combat crime

Amidst rising crime rates and a deteriorating law and order situation, the Gujarat government has hatched a plan to leverage AI to catch criminals and maintain peace on the streets.

In the initial phase, all CCTV cameras in police stations across the state will be repaired and linked to district control rooms. A dedicated team at each station will monitor the cameras and take action as needed.
