STATE TO RECRUIT 24.700 TEACHERS

Following widespread protests, the state government has finally decided to recruit 24,700 teachers in primary and secondary schools by December this year on permanent positions. In a relief to candidates, the government has said that those who have cleared TET-1 from 2012 to 2023 and TET-2 from 2011 to 2023 will be considered eligible to apply.

The decision was taken in the state cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Giving details, Education Minister Kuber Dindor and MoS Praful Panseriya announced that an advertisement for recruitment of teachers for TET and TAT pass candidates will be released on August 1 and the recruitment process would be completed by December.
