BRIGHTON BOSS STILL TRUSTS PROCESS DESPITE POOR FORM
By Keith Webster
Far from Fab but Hurzeler will not panic

FABIAN HURZELER has told his Brighton players not to be alarmed, despite going eight games without a win. The Seagulls head to Norwich in the FA Cup third round tomorrow looking for their first victory since claiming three points at Bournemouth on November 23.

But their German head coach wants his squad to remember their footballing philosophy, instead of resorting to desperation in the hunt for a morale-boosting triumph.

"It's always important to get a win, no matter which tournament," Hurzeler said.

"It gives you confidence, belief and trust in yourself. It also gives you a better atmosphere.

"But I always say that we focus on the process and on the performances because long- term, when you keep the philosophy, keep the hard work, when you invest everything you have then I'm sure the results will come.
