A MOTHER screamed "my baby's been shot" after a gunman opened fire, hitting her eight-year-old daughter and the girl's dad.
They were both shot on Sunday evening as they drove through Kensington, West London.
Last night, the dad, 34, was being treated for potentially life-changing injuries while the girl was recovering after undergoing surgery for serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
The girl's mother, 32, and the couple's two-year-old child, who were also passengers in the family car, escaped uninjured the shooting.
The mother is at her daughter's bedside, where she is understood to be "in a state of shock".
