The Life and Death of Lily Savage will be screened on ITV1 this Easter along with his final television project Paul O'Grady's Great Elephant Adventure.
The shows will mark the first anniversary of Paul's passing at the age of 67.
The feature-length documentary will feature his daughter Sharyn being interviewed about her father alongside other close family and friends including Sir Ian McKellen, Julian Clary and Graham Norton.
It describes how a working class, gay man from Birkenhead, Merseyside, created unforgettable Scouse sex worker Savage and honed her persona in London's underground gay venues in the 1970s and 1980s.
