ADRIAN NEWEY aims to turn Aston Martin into title contenders after confirming his blockbuster move from Red Bull.
The legendary car designer, 65, has signed a long-term deal and become an Aston Martin shareholder.
It is understood he will earn a guaranteed £20million per year, rising to £30m with add-ons, making him one of the highest-paid figures in British sport when he starts work next March.
Billionaire owner Lawrence Stroll is confident the investment will be a "bargain", though, as they target title success.
Newey said: "Lawrence is determined to create a worldbeating team.
