SIR Paul McCartney finally got back to where he always belonged on Saturday night... on a British stage belting out 35 classic songs spanning seven decades.
It's been six years since the Beatles legend last toured the UK but, at 82 years old, he showed no signs of slowing down with a storming three-hour set at Manchester's Co-op Live.
"Here we are, up north again. And it's good to be back," says Sir Paul, after kicking off the British leg of his two-year Got Back tour with a blistering version of Fab Four classic A Hard Day's Night.
