PARTYGATE peer Shaun Bailey has been sworn in to the Lords after snubbing calls to give up his gong.
The Tory London mayoral flop, 52, accepted the seat despite demands he wait until after a police probe into a Jingle and Mingle lockdown bash held by his team, which he attended.
Mr Bailey was awarded a peerage in Boris Johnson's resignation honours.
Yesterday he was formally introduced as Lord Bailey of Paddington just after 2.40pm and took the oath of allegiance.
