England fans' joy at Euros draw as matches 4hrs by road from Calais

ENGLAND fans hope to be on the road to success at Euro 2024, with some stadiums in Germany just a four-hour drive from Calais. 

Supporters hailed a "perfect draw" for the Three Lions' challenge as the venues are about as close as possible.

Gareth Southgate's side will play Serbia in Gelsenkirchen on June 16 and Slovenia in Cologne on June 25.

Both cities are four hours by car from Calais, while their June 20 Group C clash with Denmark is a further two hours along the autobahn in Frankfurt.
