GEOFF Hurst yesterday hailed England's stunning comeback goal against Slovakia as more exciting than his famous World Cup hat-trick winner.

Sir Geoff 82, also urged fans to back Gareth Southgate's team by reminding them Sir Alf Ramsey's 1966 side were also booed.

He said after the 2-1 win: "What an end to a game. Two of the most exciting moments in England's tournament history.

"Better than my third, [in terms of excitement] because before my goal went in the game was over. Maybe it's coming home? Hope so."
