ONE of three suspects being investigated over Liam Payne’s death has denied supplying the troubled singer with drugs.
Waiter Braian Nahuel Paiz told how he stayed the night in the One Direction star’s hotel in the weeks before his fatal balcony plunge on October 16.
The 24-year-old has allegedly been identified as Liam’s “dealer” and was arrested by Argentinian police.
But he insisted: “I never supplied Liam with drugs.”
Paiz said he last met the Brit on October 13 at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires and the pair took drugs. He also claimed Liam appeared “frightened” before he left.
He added: “I stayed there all night. I consumed marijuana, and he consumed cocaine – the cocaine that’s in all the photos that came out after his death.
“He was separating it and cleaning it before smoking it. I didn’t say anything to him about it because he seemed normal to me.
“He wasn’t aggressive. He behaved really well with me. He was really sweet. He asked me if I was OK.”
KEEPSAKE
Paiz claimed to have 31-year-old Liam’s messages confirming their plans to meet and said he never deleted any of them.
