AMERICA is to go ahead with its first-ever nitrogen gas execution as a US inmate faces the death penalty for a second time.
Barring a successful appeal, Kenneth Smith, 58, will today be moved to the "death cell" at Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore, Alabama.
