JARELL QUANSAH insists his rise to stardom hasn't been overnight - he's been working on becoming a Liverpool legend for 16 years.
This time last summer, the centre-back was just another youngster on the club's pre-season tour in Asia, with little idea of what the new campaign held in store.
A couple injuries and suspensions in the early months of the season opened the door for Quansah and by the end of term he had been named in England's provisional squad for Euro 2024.
Yet it was really around the turn of the year that he became more of a fixture in Jurgen Klopp's side.
