Machete raiders held my girls hostage

Dad's terror as thugs ransack house and steal his car to escape

A TERRIFIED dad has told how a machete gang took his daughters hostage and threatened to kill his son before ransacking their home.

Mohammed Ali, 39, woke to screams from his two young girls as four robbers, also armed with a meat cleaver and a brick, burst in and escaped with his car.

The HGV driver first saw two intruders on the stairs as another held a knife against the throats of his daughters, aged seven and 12, in the living room.

And seconds later when his son emerged from his bedroom, one of the men yelled, "Kill him! Kill him!" before moving towards the 18-year-old.

Mohammed said he pushed the attacker away and he and his son ran to a bathroom, while the robbers hacked at the door with machetes.
