MORGAN Ribeiro travelled to Turkey for weight-loss surgery full of hope that it would put an end to the bullying about her size that had blighted her life.

Days before having her gastric sleeve operation, she sent this heartbreaking message on social media: "My last post before weight-loss surgery see you on the other side.

During the operation on January 5, surgeons cut Morgan's small intestine. She fell ill with septic shock on the plane home and the flight had to be diverted to Belgrade in Serbia, where she died on January 13.
