Soap star finally gets to work with hero Gervais

EASTENDERS actress Natalie Cassidy once described Ricky Gervais as "God" - and it seems he may have granted her an After Life.

The soap favourite, 41, has said she has always wanted to work with the comedian and she now has a new project which fans will be hoping is a fourth series of his hit series.

Ricky posted a teasing photo on social media of himself with Natalie and the cast of his Netflix show, including Kerry Godliman, Diane Morgan, Tom Basden and Tony Way.

The image showed the group in a recording studio with scripts.
