Olivia's mum slams murderer over his 'disgusting' appeals

THE mother of murdered schoolgirl Olivia Pratt-Korbel has blasted her murderer's bid to get his sentence reduced.

Shameless Thomas Cashman, 35, had complained that he would be an old man after his 42-year sentence.

Three Court of Appeal judges yesterday rejected his application.

But it emerged after the hearing that the drug dealer will also seek to appeal against his conviction for the murder of nine-year-old Olivia.

She was killed when Cashman opened fire as he chased fellow drug dealer Joseph Nee into her home in Dovecot, Liverpool, in August 2022.

Cashman's bullet hit Olivia's mother Cheryl Korbel in the wrist as she tried to keep the door shut on Nee. The same bullet killed her daughter.
