A VETERAN Tory MP sparked fury yesterday for claiming that Kemi Badenoch is unsuitable to become the party's leader because she is preoccupied with her children.
Sir Christopher Chope's comments were branded insulting and offensive by MPs across the political divide.
The backbencher, who is supporting rival candidate Robert Jenrick, complained about Ms Badenoch spending "a lot of time with her family".
