ENGLAND'S centrally contracted white-ball players have all been told they will not be allowed to play in the freshly-minted Major League Cricket tournament in the USA this July.

And things are far from yankee doodle dandy for non-contracted players and those such as Jason Roy (above), David Willey and Reece Topley, on increment deals only.

While their deal means they cannot be stopped from going, they have been told the England management would rather they did not head over to the States.
