THE riddle of the young princes in the Tower of London who went missing presumed murdered in medieval England has fascinated history buffs for years.

Shakespeare himself put his thoughts on it in one of his plays, Richard III, suggesting the future king ordered the murder of the nine and 12-year-olds.

Five hundred years on, the writer who spearheaded the search for the burial place of Richard III has set her sights on finding out what really happened to the princes.

Philippa Langley spent seven years tracing the origins of this cold case.

The writer teamed up with criminal barrister Rob Rinder and the pair have headed up an investigative documentary that leaves no stone unturned.
