UKRAINE said it is continuing to advance into Russian territory as it steps up fierce cross-border assaults.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has made his biggest battlefield gains since 2022 after months on the back foot.
Troops are said to have advanced more than a mile into Russia's Kursk region and cleared Sudzha of Vladimir Putin's forces, capturing 100 Russian prisoners of war.
Mr Zelensky confirmed: "We continue to advance further in the Kursk region.
