Wills gets message after £23m boost

PRINCE William raked in £23million last year but made a string of personal donations to charities.

Accounts show the royal's Duchy of Cornwall estate boomed in his first full year in the post.

The money is used to fund his Kensington Palace household and other outgoings.

But William, 42, and Kate, also 42, embarked on a campaign of philanthropy by making undisclosed donations to charities linked to the Ukraine war, as well as to earthquake appeals in Turkey and Syria.

They also chipped in for the London Air Ambulance and several mental health charities.
